From September 15 to 17, Avantium participated in SIMAC Tanning Tech 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho, one of the leading international events dedicated to technologies for the footwear industry.
It was a valuable opportunity to meet customers, partners and industry professionals, exchange ideas and showcase technological solutions developed to meet the demands of increasingly precise, flexible and efficient manufacturing processes.
Avantium Technologies Take Center Stage at SIMAC 2026
Our participation focused on innovation across the different stages of footwear manufacturing, from upper preparation and lasting to finishing operations.
Among the innovations presented, particular attention was given to the MARK ZERO MW, Avantium’s new generation of roller-type heel seat lasting machines, which entered production in 2026. This solution has been developed to deliver greater precision, efficiency and reliability, helping to optimize the manufacturing process.
The spotlight was also on the technologies that define Avantium’s product range:
Pre-lasting and lasting: advanced solutions designed to ensure precision, control and flexibility when processing different types of footwear.
Heel seat and side lasting: technologies engineered to ensure consistent quality and repeatability throughout the process.

Sole pressing and bonding: solutions focused on production efficiency and the quality of the finished product.
